Chilly

Oh my days it's turned chilly.

I have managed to go without putting the heating on since April, but I think today might be the day.

This morning was crisp and bright, I can definitely get on with the cold temperatures when it's sunny, but as the day progressed the grey clouds have rolled in and the cold gets set into your bones.

Therefore, I think, let's pretend its a warm September day and we have decided to head out an take a walk around Kensington and Hyde Park.

Let's get off the bus at the Royal Albert Hall....

Come on, there's no actors waiting at the stage door to admire or identify, take my hand and let's cross over the road to the Albert Memorial, a beautiful dedication from Queen Victoria to her beloved husband.

Whilst enjoying the walk in the warm, warm air which embraces your body, as the many families, dogs and lovers pass us by. Look, can you see that stream of tourists honing in on something up ahead. I wonder what they are all hoarding towards?

Oh yes, Kensington Palace. Neatly positioned within the park, with the most beautifully tended garden.

Let's stop here a while, eat some sandwiches, have a drink a absorb the colour and beauty of the plants and flowers.

Can you feel that sunshine on your back? Sit back a while and enjoy it, before you know it, it will be November and you will be sitting, chilly in your flat with all of a greyness outside.

Let's stretch our legs a little bit and wander down to Hyde Park and have a look at their flower garden. You're not fed up of flowers yet are you? I could never be fed up with their colours, shapes, scents and the insects and animals they sustain.

Oh, there was only one still in bloom.

How did you enjoy our walk in the sunshine?

Hehee!

I hope it sent some warmth to you wherever you are. It certainly warmed me and my heart to look back to late summertime.

Stay cosy!
